I was shocked while I heard that Kelvin has gone to be with God!
In 2006, I came back to HK from
More than 20 years ago, I saw Kelvin for the first time. He was working for the Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped youth. I remember that he has small eyes, a baby face, and a smile like sunshine. He was both cute and kind. The image of his is imprinted in my mind. He created variety of program for the members. He worked hard and was always very considerate for us young people. Kelvin told me later that he liked to change his field to work with children and therefore, he left the society. We continued to keep in touch until I immigrated to
When Kelvin was still working with the member, I could never forget this experience. It was an over-night camping trip and I was there. During the trip, we had a very enjoyable time together and we talked and shared on many different topics. After the camping trip, we still felt like sharing more and he invited my friend and me to visit his new house. After that time together, I started to understand Kelvin more deeply as a person.
Kelvin is a straightforward person. He is understanding and is a man with patience. He worked hard because he has a warmth heart. He loves children and looking after children was his goal. He had indeed done a great job in caring for children.
“Kelvin, I will forever remember you. Your face and smile that is as warmth as the sunshine will always imprint in my mind.”
